● Appearing in the Home Service Ad is a badge of trust -- only providers who have met Google’s qualifying criteria will be featured.

○ Testing: Painters, Towing, Auto Glass, House Cleaners, Handyman
● HSA build the businesses a polished profile page, so that people can see exactly which services it offers, and the hours of operation.
● Providers are approved by Google review: Background, quality, insurance, and active license
● The Home Service advertisers get a Google guaranteed badge, access to the Home Service app, premium promotion, and more.

How does a customer find one of our pros?
1. A customer searches for one of the thousands of search terms that will trigger the ad (everything from general “Plumber” to specific “leaky faucet”)
2. If IP address or specific search (“plumber SF”) is in one of our HSA cities, our HSA ad unit shows in top three positions
3. The customer fills in details about the job and can select up to 3 providers to send a message to (on desktop search) OR clicks to call a Pro on mobile device (mobile search)
4. Pro responds with a quote or a message asking for more detail5. Customer books job w/ pro6. A request to leave a review is automatically sent to customer when job is finished7. Ads are ranked by; Relevance, Reviews, and Response time

● The budget is set WEEKLY for a pro. ● The budget is the MOST they can be charged in that week● They will only be charged for # of leads sent, up to the budget● The pro can pause, increase or decrease the budget at any time● The budget will carry over from the budget set the week before
○ E.g. if the budget was set at $500 it will carry over until the budget restarts on Sunday the next week
○ If the budget is changed to up or down, the most recent budget will be what is automatically started on the beginning of next week.
● When the budget runs out, the providers paid ad will stop showing and they will drop into the free listings
