National Educational Projects

”Green Guerilla” (www.guerillaverde.ro ) is part of a bigger concept, generically called BETI (Better Education Through Innovation), which aims to aid educating tomorrow’s generation with the help of movies. Green Guerilla is the first educational movie caravan in Romania, with an environmental message.

”GeneratiaS” (Health Generation www.generatias.ro) - also part of BETI, GeneratiaS is the first educational movie tour with a health message dedicated to youth.

• Why: to determine youth to have initiatives for protecting the environment and health and other subjects. The invitation to take part in movie viewings offered by the organizers is the starting point of this endeavor.

• How: each viewing is accompanied by discussions with representatives from local and national environmental NGOs, who will encourage the youth to have an environmentally friendly behavior and to volunteer, for example.

• Where: in schools, high-schools and universities, in cinema halls or improvised halls. The access is free of charge.

National Educational Projects

- ”Romanian Movies Days” (www.zilelefilmuluiromanesc.ro ) - a festival we organize twice a year in order to promote Romanian producers and Romanian movies in cities without cinemas. This is an initiative we have based on our experience in national lauch and movie tour which raised more than 63.000 people have seen the movie ”4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days” - directed by Cristian Mungiu, who won Palme D”Or in 2007.

- ”CharityGift.ro” - (www.charitygift.ro ) is a online volunteering project launched in November 2008. CharityGift.ro is the first online charity store in Romania through which each sold product includes a donation. All products presented on www.charitygift.ro include a donation which is given by the supplier to the cause and foundation of choice. The donation does not make the price of the good higher than the one found in the original store. The products sold on this website include: books, accessories, cosmetics, toys, hand-made products, holiday packs or goods created by the beneficiaries of the foundations represented on this web-site. The web-site is updated daily with new products, as well as with information about the NGO’s that subscribe to the project.
