Let’s start off with a quick survey

SO...
What do these have in common??
They are all trademarks of Nike,

So, What is a Brand??
A Brand is a tool in the business world
that is used to describe a product..
When you see these brands you associate a set of expectations with
them
For Example..

In this session you will learn how to
create a Brand for yourself!
Think about the following people
who have branded themselves..
Branding yourself helps you define
what/who you are all about.
Its not about getting someone
to choose you over your competitor
Its about them seeing you as the ONLY person for
the job.
So lets design a plan to make you
famous…
So, How do you go about branding
yourself??
Here’s an 8 step process..
Step 1. Self Reflection.

(Give yourself credit, If you think you’ve done achieved something, list it down)
2. List down areas in which you are lacking experience…..
4. What makes you as a product unique?
• What is your best asset??• What are you noteworthy for??• What do you contribute that you are most
proud of??
(This will help you figure out the kind of edge you have other the others)
5. Prepare a mission statement for yourself
For Example:
“My personal career mission is to become a world class aeronautical engineer in the commercial aviation inductry”
“My personal career mission is to gain experience in the public accounting field toward earning my CPA designation”
(With a mission, you will have direction for where you want your brand to go)
