• There has to be objective & should be too high• e.g. – To get independence from British rule• To take complete responsibilities 100% contribution towards organisation, employees and clients

• To add value; contribute utilising your education, skills, experience and knowledge

Leadership• To draw clear strategy, To think always how to succeed, discuss & decide and then execute

• To do more, think more and execute more• To think always about organisation , responsibility and results

• To work hard, maximise our efforts, to do multi tasking and minimum 2-3 roles

• To forget yourself & personal success, Organisation is first, Personal success is nothing if organisation fails

• Do not wait; contribute on every opportunity

Emerging as Leaders• Doing more than colleagues and subordinates• Lead by example• Keep the team motivated• All assignments must be of equal priorities• Incentives - When you lead with objective, any incentives do not work

• Demonstration & confidence - Even if I am left alone, company survives & I will make it grow

• Sharing thoughts with clients by email, telephone, VC meetings, follow up & reviews, face to face, to be there to see their faces

Client happiness• Focus on clients requirements & their requests who pays us money

• Understand customers and service their requirements. Do not teach the customers

• Quality is a necessity not an option   • Listen to clients, do not argue, else they will go to others;

• Maximise requests from clients, they will pay more

Teamwork• To work together to achieve common objectives• E.g. Japan as a sales and India as Engineer / Technology support

• We are in small boat, if there is a fire, distinguish it together

• To motivate team members• To treat all employees equally, no discrimination over caste, gender, avoid favoring

• To delegate with empowerment• Passion & capability with individual is different so all can not do equal, understand & support

Guiding & supporting• To guide , support & help to achieve the goals, set the expectations, Let them execute

• To watch carefully, assignment should not fail; review periodically not to let assignment fail

• Support to resolve the problem• Provide practical instructions• Assign complete responsibility & share authority• Let them follow, Do not force• To encourage to work independently, to allow to do on their own (ex of cutting tree by 3 teams)

• Guide & encourage to think the best methods

Improve yourself• Keep listening mode, understand all• Take everyone with you; drive with all• Understand everyone is different personalities• Keep optimum expectations, encourage to take

more with the consent• Respect each individual• Understand that control & power are virtual

terms associated with your position• Get disciplined• Guide while opportunity exists; try to tap

complete potential
