1. The New Toyota Corolla. Dependability, Style, and Value 2. The first generation of the Toyota Corolla. In, 1966, Toyota introduces the Toyota Corolla, which would quickly grow in populartiy around the world. The Corolla's debut was a huge critical and consumer success. Recognized for its comfortable seating and rear space and 60 horsepower, 1.1 liter engine with a manual transmission. 3. The Second Generation Toyota Corolla was introduced to market in 1970. Consumers were looking for more comfort and advancements so Toyota expanded the body size and improved the overall driving experience. The engine size was also increased to 1.4 liters and included the automatic transmission option. 4. The fourth generation Toyota Corolla was introduced in '79 and the early 1980's. Due to the improved economy and diversified needs of consumers the Corolla became a more luxurious family car with improved performance, more aerodynamic, rack & pinion steering and better fuel performance. 5. From the mid 1980's to late 1990's Toyota introduced the fifth - seventh generations of the Corolla. During this period Toyota strived to make the Corolla the best selling car on the market while making advancements like front wheel drive and improved safety inititives. 6. Toyota introduced the eight through the tenth generation Corolla from 1998-2013. As buyinig power for younger adults increased the Corolla made improvements to continue its appeal to that audience. With increased horsepower and size it was well received. Its global footprint was also increasing and to stay competitive there was increased importance placed on safety, enviornment, and reliability. 7. Introducing the 2014 Toyota Corolla. Taking into account the terrific history of the Corolla and the opinions of the Corolla by customers Toyota's goal was to "Exceed Customer Expectations" with design and performance. 8. Currently, Toyota is introducing it's newest and most stylish Corolla to date with premium features on the interior and exterior, like LED headlights, aerodynamic design, chrome accents, push-button climate controls, premium audio system, back-up camera, high-tech fabric and more. 9. The 2015 Corolla has a roomy interior, iPod/MP3 inputs, Bluetooth compatibility, driver knee and passenger cushion, front airbags, and LED headlights. 10.
