Ford focus
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdA2U
ec5S7o
Ford focus advert that demonstrates the new
features of the card including auto park. A car
that reads road signs, automatically turns of the
vents to save fuel, and stops if you’re getting
close to a car to save you from crashing.
This advert is clever because it says things like
‘do you know a car that can read road signs?’
which is suggesting that this is the only car that
can do this and that it is clever.
This advert is mainly about the Ford image and
quality. Because it is mainly about the
description of the brand new features that no
other cars have. It doesn’t mention price In the
advert because they people who are interested
will research about the car and buy it if they’re
happy with everything.
Ford focus’ are around middle priced for cars in
the market and are aimed at mainly family’s and
middle class people.
This can also include value because once you
have the car you will not be able to live without
the features because you will get so used to
having them. Even if you get such a more
expensive car, it still won’t be the same.

Lamborghini

This Lamborghini advert is focused more about the speed of the
car rather then anything else and also the image. After seeing the
advert higher class customers will more likely to look into getting
one. The car is very well known and is known for its expense,
worth and speed. The advert shows the car been fast and is fast
enough to dodge and drift around cracks occurring in the road.
The advert, like the ford focus one does not include anything
about price because that is not how they’re planning on attracting
there customers because it has a very high price. But they attract
them with the speed and look of the car. The value on this car is
very high from the speed, but this car isn’t suitable for families or
road journeys more for just pleasure of having this car.
It is different from the focus advert because it is not trying to
persuade people to buy it through gadgets but simply through
speed and the look of the car. That is why they have chosen an
orange Lamborghini- it’s different. I think the focus is aimed more
at women because women are more interested in what the car
has to offer through features such as the breaking feature and
parking, which men are not interested in because the have high
profile when it comes to cars and think they’re good drivers who
do not need these features. , where has men are more bothered
about speed, which makes the target audience for the
Lamborghini men.
ASDA M&S
This Asda advert shows pictures of different pies at
cheap prices. It has its theme colour green and low
prices in capitals over it which shows that this advert is
attracting the audience through price. The advert doesn’t
show any quality or value or image really. The
photography is standard along with the whole advert
itself.
The M&S advert shows quality. The advert is very colourfull including the colour of the
foods that are been listed which is clever because it makes it look like a sandwich with
words. You can tell by looking at the advert that it is formal and well designed, which makes
you immediately think that it is more expensive compared to most food adverts containing
simple photographs of food rather then forma fonts and colour. All the elements of this
advert are about quality and M&S’ Image. In contrast to the asda advert it is very different in
the fact that this is selling the food with quality, how good it will taste, and how top quality
the food is. Whereas asda are attracting the customers simply by the pricing of the foods
and that they’re the cheapest you can find. A middle class person is more likely to be more
interested in the M&S advert then the asda.
The advert includes the names of the fillings in the sandwich, you can tell they’re pricy and
from M&S because of the names of them for example ‘smoked salmon’ ‘king prawns’,
‘farmhouse bread’ rather then normal sliced bread, prawns and salmon. Because there
quality of food is high. What you pay high for is high quality.
Pretty Little Thing
First glance at the advert you can
immediately tell that it is a cheap
clothes store, because they
usually sell their clothes through
the price on an advert, by
telling/showing the audience how
cheap there clothes are but in
trend at the same time. By doing
this they usually show something
that’s in trend on the advert and at
a low price, which indicates that
everything will be low prices, and
then they have the web address
below. You can also tell by the photography as well that the clothes aren’t designer, designer clothes
photography usually use elegant colours, and don’t have a variety of colours in one photograph, they
make it look more simple. Occasionally in black and white in perfume ads but not in clothing. The
advert doesn’t show a lot about quality because you can’t really see the dress she is wearing, which
doesn’t make it a very good advert, neither value or image.
Lacoste
This advert is lactose which is a designer
brand, you immediately will be able to tell
when looking at it, because the adverts
are usually simple with little colour, which
makes them look more elegant and
professional. It brings more focus onto the
clothes then anything else, which is what
the advert is about. This advert includes
no price, which also suggests it’s designer
and focus’ more on the image of the
brand and quality of the clothes.
This advert is very different from the previous
clothes advert because it is a lot more
elegant and includes less colour. The
designer also doesn’t use prices to
market themselves, they simply sell
themselves of image and quality, which
you can easily tell through the good
advertisement and photography in this
advert. The Lacoste logo is on the right
hand side of the advert which is clearly
shown, which suggests it is valuable and
important.
