Manchester Airport Group with ArcGIS - Asset Management

Preview:

DESCRIPTION

Manchester Airport Group’s (M.A.G) use of ArcGIS for spatially managing long term asset planning. It is building a new GIS solution that will integrate with attribute data allowing it to be mapped and record the asset information in one central database and share it across the business. This comprehensive asset management system is expected to introduce more efficient ways of working and help MAG identify the most profitable and sustainable uses for its land and other assets for many years to come. The utilisation of GIS and its technologies in conjunction with the ability to integrate within various applications, systems and hardware throughout our organisation in turn allowing the management of assets and infrastructure. Leveraging years of GIS use requires the development of an Enterprise GIS able to integrate across the business needs of the organisation including designing or building a customised architecture or applications, integrating it with new or existing hardware such as BI and CRM, packaged and custom software. By fully integrating our GIS Services and other pertinent databases which will allow our end-users to instantly view geospatially enabled data via ArcGIS Online Account and incorporate the data into everyday workflows.
