Dimness of vision.

• Mode of onset(sudden ,gradual).• Duration(short or long).• For distance or near.• Seeing double objects.• Seeing flashes of light.• Night blindness.

Pain in the eye.

• Mode of onset.• Severity and duration.• relation to close work.• Time of day when maximum.• Associated nausea, vomiting, photophobia,

impaired vision.

Redness , congestion

• Of the eyelids.• Of the area surrounding the eye• Of the eye.

Secretion.

• Excessive and normal secretion• Type of altered secretion• Sticky eyes• Associated crusts and flakes.

Disturbance of eyeball
