Walk to the ‘interrogation room’ – during the instrumental at the beginning

“I don't know where to start” – quick zoom in eye – (UNCONVENTIONAL)

Head in hands whilst he lip synchs.

Various Shot Reverse Shots between Jake and Monique

Flashback back to the beginning, him notices her, she notices him.

Slow motion effect of them passing each other, turning back to look at each other, over the shoulder shot.

Both exchange contact details, assumption that they start going out on various dates.

(N.B Joe Jonas – Just In Love 24-28 seconds shows this effect!)

Point of view filming. “REC” shows own perspective. (UNCONVENTIONAL)

‘Cheat’

She looks away/gets a text/takes a phone call (goes outside) he sees another girl, they both stare at each other

He slips her a note (or we don't see how they get in contact with each other but as an audience we can assume this happens)

Split Screen – 2 or 3 way (UNCONVENTIONAL)

• He goes to bathroom, sulks and sighs, realises he hasn’t got his phone, hurriedly rushes back out to find out that its too late.

One quick scene of Jake and Beth smiling to each other,The couple switch from Beth, Anika and vise versa to show he cheated on her, last switch is with Anika, they walk into apartment smiling. (he leaves phone on bed/table)

argumentHis phone vibrates, she goes to check it and ‘finds out’.

Walks out and its raining, pathetic fallacy?

Could be arrested? (although that Is hard to do.) or just her ‘dying’ in his arms, him crying and sobbing.

She runs out of the house with feelings of anger and upset and you hear a car horn and screech giving the audience the notion that she was just run over. Jake then runs over to her and holds her, ‘dying in arms’ him crying. Various close ups, wide shots and P.O.V

Zoom out of eye back to police station, one tear drops? (may do lip synch of last line “lost without your love” and puts head in hands to show a circular narrative effect)

Whole room fades into darkness. (or spotlight turns off, or zoom out of room leaving him seen alone at table)
