This slideshow will show you some of our challenges in a visual way.Photos are (somewhat) arranged by category:

Electrical

• Very few wall outlets in classrooms (most have only 2 for a total of 4 plug-ins)

• Power Strips are used in every single classroom for multiple devices.

• Daisy-chained Power Strips are sometimes unavoidable.

This is a rubber cover that is supposed to keep the wires together and unexposed. The students trip on it, causing wires to constantly be re-exposed. The rubber rips and tears and essentially has no use other than being a tripping hazard. Rubber originally was screwed into the floor in every room, however, this proved to be useless as the students tripping on it would tear it from the screws.

Please notice the Ethernet cords in many pictures. Many rooms require 100 foot Ethernet cords which stretch across rooms, over floors, and underneath heaters.
