Svenja Wiegand

My thesis subject:Increasing corporate sales conversion by utilising a systematic approach to influence the corporate client’s decision making process.

My future:I would like to continue working in the Meeting & Event industry in London to further my knowledge in the hotel industry and gain a management position in a 5 star hotel.

Svenja Wiegand

My greatest memories about Saxion:

Meeting so many new people with different nationalities and personalities.

Mindaugas Gluchovskis

My thesis subject:Exploring travel purchase behaviour of Chinese traveller in Bali for ICS Travel Group. This assignment focuses on growing the Chinese market in Bali, and the potential that this target group offers. In order to analyse the reasons behind an expanding market and to create a good reason for Chinese travellers to choose ICS as a tour operator, this report explores the travel purchase behaviour of the target market.

My future:I see myself in tourism area applying the knowledge and expertise gained throughout both traineeships and theory years in Saxion University. Sometime in the future I would like to contribute to Lithuania's growth in toursim sector by establishing a competitive MICE-focused Destination Management company.

Mindaugas Gluchovskis

My greatest memories about Saxion:

One of the most remarkable memories probably was meeting so many different nationalities and learning different views sometimes about the same subject. That is something that will benefit for a long time in future career.

Anna Paasikoski

My thesis subject:My Thesis report was conducted for the Mountains of the Moon University in Fort Portal, Uganda. The topic discusses the development of the tourism profile of the Ruwenzori region and the current consumer markets. Research was conducted on the current consumer and supplier perspectives on the image and personality of the region for initial marketing advice.

My future:I am planning to start a Masters degree abroad in September 2018. I am still figuring out which direction I am going to follow in regards to future career.

Anna Paasikoski

My greatest memories about Saxion:

Are the people I have met and the international setting. I also gained life enhancing experiences with the internships abroad through the study.

Hannah Loddenkötter

Hannah Loddenkötter

My greatest memories about Saxion:

All in all, I have many positive memories about my time at Saxion. I spent my time with great friends and will always be grateful for the support I got from the people working here. But the best memory is about the time I received the call about passing my thesis.

Marvin Siekmann

My thesis subject:Improving customer communication channels for a luxury tour operator

My future:No plans yet.

Marvin Siekmann

My greatest memories about Saxion:

The greatest memory of my time during Saxion is our study trip to Zambia as well as the two semesters abroad. Definitely the most valuable part of the studies for me.

Sarah Botterbrodt

My thesis subject:It dealt with the recruitment of new students for a student exchange programme with regards to the optimisation of marketing activities. My client was the student exchange organisation Ayusa-Intrax based in Berlin where I previously completed an internship to receive in-depth insights into the company.

My future:I am always seeking new challenges within my professional life and a diversified job with the opportunity to continuously further develop myself. Besides, I hope to work within an international environment or even abroad and to make use of the learning I have gathered from this study.

Sarah Botterbrodt

My greatest memories about Saxion:

Finding the best friends in the world through my studies who spend the last 4 years together with me and accompanied me through ups and downs. The countless unforgettable memories especially include the study trips to Paris, Valencia and London, but also internships, Tuesday nights, exam weeks, propedeuseceremonies or flunky ball tournaments. It could not have been better!
