Preposition
A preposition is a word which shows the relationship between one thing and another.
It links nouns, pronouns and phrases to other words in the sentence.

2. Compound prepositionsCompound prepositions are words like without, within, inside, outside, into, beneath, below, behind, between etc.
3. Double prepositionsDouble prepositions are words likeoutside of, out of, from behind, from beneath etc.
4. Participle prepositionsParticiple prepositions are words like concerning, notwithstanding, pending, considering etc.
5. Phrase prepositionsPhrase prepositions are phrases like because of, by means of, with regard to, on behalf of, instead of, on account of, in opposition to, for the sake of etc.
