Christmas is a holiday in December where people wrap presents and put them under a decorated tree. Then, on Christmas day, people open the presents.

Thanksgiving is a holiday on the last Thursday of November and it is where families have a big dinner together.

On July 4th, people celebrate when the USA became Independent. People watch fireworks on that day.

Birthdays in Massachusetts are celebrated like any other birthday in the world. They get a cake with candles and they also get presents.

Advice• Try to make friends that you can trust

• Try to make friends that don’t use you

• Remember, time is important

• Don’t be tardy for a class

• Make sure you look at the person you are speaking to because if you don’t, they will think you are hiding something
