NucleusNucleus

Nucleus contains the genetic code, the DNA, and controls the cell activity. Only eukaryotic cells have the nucleus. Its size depends by its function and its jobs.

Cytoplasm

In the cytoplasm take place a lot of chemical processes, controlled by enzymes. It is watery and contains the organelles.

Cell membrane

The cell membrane controls the movement in and out of the cell. It is very thin and is made by lipid. It divides the Cytoplasm to outdoors.

Organelles

•The organelles have a lot of job which serve to the cell life. There are a lot of type of organelles with different function. For example chloroplast and vacuole are organelles.

Cell wall

The cell wall strengthens the cell giving it more rigidity and strength. Only plant cells have this organelle around the cell membrane.

Chloroplast

The chloroplast is a organelle contains chlorophyll, which absorbs sun energy for photosynthesis. It has an oval shape with two protective membranes.

Permanent vacuole

Permanent vacuole felled with cell sap to help keep the cell turgid. It has a own membrane, created by Golgi’s apparatus.

DiffusionDiffusion

Exemple of diffusion In the lungs: the oxygen moves from alveolar air space to blood circulating around the lungs.

OsmosisOsmosis

Exemple of osmosis, very important in plants.
