Andre Clark is completing his 18th year of teaching choral music in Texas. Mr. Clark serves as the Head Choir Director and Fine Arts Department Chair at Westwood High School. He is currently serving as the TMEA Region 26Secretary. He has served TMEA Regions 18 and 26 in several capacities: Vocal Division Chair, Vocal Division Secretary, Treasurer, Region Secretary, and Vocal Division Tabulations Chair. Since its inception, Mr. Clark has provided technical integration and support for UIL Music Region 26. He maintains professional affiliations with TMEA, TCDA, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity. He is a member of the CEDFA Training Cadre and is an active member of TMAA.
Mr. Clark was born and raised in Houston where he attended North Shore High School. He then attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, and after a brief career in IT, graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. In Spring 2016, he completed a Masters of Music Education degree from the University of Florida. He and his wife, Stacy, reside in Hutto, Texas. Mr. Clark spends as much time as possible riding his motorcycle off-road, and explaining the nuances of professional motocross to Stacy, their two cats, Ellie, and KiKi, and their dog, Bailey.

Jennifer Alexander is in her fourth year of teaching in the Round Rock Independent School District, and second year at Westwood. This year she will serve as the full time Assistant Choral Director. Previously, she served as the Assistant Choral Director at both Canyon Vista Middle School and Westwood High School.
Ms. Alexander has an extensive background in private voice teaching, spending most of her years teaching at Westlake High School. She was also the Assistant Director of Music at First United Methodist Church in downtown Austin. After many years working part-time and raising her children, she finally made her way into the public school classroom in 2015. This is where her heart has always been. She grew up in a musical family, and is now following in the footsteps of her two parents, who are retired choral directors.
Ms. Alexander is married to her supportive husband, Mike, and has three children, Grace, Evan and Will. She enjoys decorating, cooking and binge watching Netflix.

Audience Etiquette
Our students and faculty have worked together for countless hours in the preparation of today’s performance, and we are proud to perform for you in this beautiful facility! The purpose of this program is to provide quality enrichment, learning experiences, and the highest level of entertainment for the students and patrons. In order to achieve this goal, we seek to train our young people in the various aspects of concert etiquette.
A theatrical or concert experience is a sharing between the performer and the audience. The performers are giving their time and energy to provide an entertaining and educational experience to the audience. In return, the audience should give its full attention to the performers. In order to do this, the following will apply:
Nobody moves from his/her seat or up and down the aisles once the performance begins. Any latecomers must wait until a selection, event, or act is finished before taking a seat.
During the actual performance, remain silent, except in those rare moments of planned audience participation. Avoid any excess movement or extraneous noise.
Please avoid calling attention to yourself as an audience member by yelling at a performer, cheering him/her on, etc. In turn, be sure that your performers on stage do not wave at or acknowledge audience members. Let’s keep the dignity of the hall and the event!
All applause is simply clapping, but if you particularly enjoy a piece of music or act, it can be vigorous. Verbal or whistle sounds are never ap-propriate. If you especially appreciate a soloist, final number, or during curtain call, it is fine to do a standing ovation.
The use of photography and videography is strictly prohibited. Also, don’t forget to turn off those cell phones!
No food or drink allowed inside the theater. Also, please keep your feet off of the seats. We want to keep the theater a beautiful performance space.
Community members are invited by the Round Rock ISD Council of the Arts to give back to our fine arts programs across the district either through volunteerism or monetary gifts. Volunteering: Volunteer opportunities are posted periodically for projects at the district, campus or community levels at fine-arts.roundrockisd.org/community. Donations: Monetary donations to enrich, provide and support student fine arts learning are always welcome. Through our Fine Arts Fund, communi-ty members can sponsor a student in need with private instrument or vocal lessons, visual arts supplies they might be able to afford or dress a dancer in our elementary, middle or high school dance programs. To give a monetary gift, please check out the project list with costs and make your dona-tion through the RRISD Partners in Education Foundation Fine Arts Fund at finearts.roundrockisd.org/community. Be sure to specify your campus and specific program/project in the “Other” to be used towards - field. Round Rock Independent School District is an equal opportunity employer and provides educational programs and services which do not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, creed, religion, disability, gender, ethnic or national origin, or against any other legally protected group. RRISD prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities and, upon request, will provide reasonable accommodation for individuals with a disabil-ity. Complaints should be directed to the Director of Legal Services & Campus Issues.
