Transition from Middle Schoolto Campus High School

Transition years are difficult due to differences between schools.

1. Grading Differences. 2. Level of expectation changes. 3. Schools schedule changes.4. Policy & Procedural changes. 5. School environment changes.

CHS grades continue from the 1st day of school to the end of the semester. The final grade determines credit in the course.

Progress reports are done every 9 weeks

CHS every class counts toward graduation requirements.

Longer, more detailed assignments.

More assignments & projects to be completed at home.

Unit Tests and Final Exams count as a greater percentage of the course grade.

Schedule:

CHS Students are on a Block Schedule with 4 – 80 minute classes on alternating days.
