CoverAn unusual image that departs from the clichéd
associations with summer’s arrival and giddy lovers,
to evoke alternate possibilities – warning sign of a
future without flowers and green leaves? Or, tired of
all that cloying honey and photographers who expect
it to freeze on flowers, has this butterfly decided to
get real and feel the harsh texture of rocks on its
delicate wings?
Ketaki Sathe who shot this picture on the upper
reaches of Dehra Dun says it is quite usual for such
Indian Tortoise Shell butterflies to bask in early
morning sunlight, absorbing heat and salts from moist
rocks.

Employees across Thermax made
sure that while they got their jobs
done, there was also enough fun to
keep the corridors ringing with
laughter and happy memories. With
lots of help from a cheerful Santa
Claus and sugary Sankranti treats,
riotous holi colours and diya and
cubicle decorating contests. Some
warm and vibrant snapshots.
Thermax warmly welcomed the German President, Prof. Dr. Horst Köhleron his official visit to India. During the 90 minute visit, the President, accompanied by his wife, Eva Luise and a delegation blazed a trail ofgoodwill. He won over the hearts of Thermax employees with hisinformality and friendliness. Dr. Köhler had gracious words for thesustainable model that Thermax has created – one that blends familyvalues and professional management.
