Step 1: Choosing the Kit

• Begin by choosing a kit that you would like to use to make comics, avatars, etc…– For example: Let’s use Vahkoro’s Star

Wars RZ Kit.– Be aware: You must give credit to the

person(s) who made the kit. In this case, to Rahi Zaku and Vahkoro.

Step 2: Saving the Kit

• Open the link in the topic and make sure the kit is the one that you want.– Make a folder on your desktop called

“Comics” or “Avatars.”

• Save the kit into the folder you just made. Save it as “Star Wars RZ Kit.”

Step 3: Using Paint

• Open up Paint.– *Note: This tutorial is for Windows

users. Macs are Greek to me.

• Go to File>Open>Comics>Star Wars RZ Kit.– The first thing to do: Go to Image.Uncheck Draw Opaque.

Step 4: The Kit

• This is where you make the characters into one piece. Use the magnifying glass and zoom in on the character you would want to use.

• Using the Select tool (Box), drag the cursor over the desired piece of the character you would like to use.

Step 4: Continued…

• While the piece you want is selected, press Ctrl C on your keyboard.– Or you can go to EDIT>Copy.

• Press Ctrl V. The piece you copied should appear on the upper left hand corner of the magnified area unless you scrolled away from it.– Repeat step 4 until all of your pieces are

copied and pasted.

• Your final result may look like this…

Step 4.5: Putting it all together

• With all of the pieces you have separated, you should have a little room around the perimeter of the entire character. Now pay attention. You might get lost.– The next few slides are the steps to

put together an average clone. Sounds easy?

Congratulations!• You have made your first Character!• Your end result should look like this:

Finally• Now, you can do that for all of the

poses in your comic, avatar, or just pieces of art!

• Use this tutorial wisely and make sure to follow the instructions carefully.
