What do I do?

How did I get into using PebblePad?Saw how a colleague used itThought I would like to try it for myselfBegan , very tentatively, with a blog for a

group of ESOL PGCE students in 2005/6Saw how useful the tool could be Was supported (mentored) closely

What were the difficulties for me?

I still felt concerned about some things – ‘marking’ reflective practice journals on line (I like the pencil in my hand!)

I wasn’t sure what to say in a blogUnsure of ‘tone’ of online conversation How would I keep track of things?

What were the advantages?I could go back and reread stuff from all

the studentsIt looked so neat – even for those

student teachers who find keeping stuff neat (and for me, too)

Can be personalisedAll in one place
