Using Mindomo on MC Online LMS

Accessing the Mindomo Dashboard

Click Mindomo on the

left panel or via the link

under the Collaboration

category on the top menu

Using Mindomo on MC Online LMS

The Mindomo dashboard will be displayed for you to:

• Create,

• Import &

• Edit mind maps

for future student assignments via Lesson Builder or

Social Learning Wall.

Creating Mindomo Assignments via Lesson Builder

Step 1:

In Create Lesson, select Collaborative

Tools and click Mindomo

Step 2:

Enter the Assignment Title

Step 3:

Click Create

Step 4:

Select how the assignment will

be completed by students

Step 5:

Click here to add attachments

for student reference

Step 6:

Click Update

Assignment

Step 7:

Click Close

*Note:

You may access this page

again at any time to post

comments & updates to

your Mindomo assignment

Students may now access the mind map

assignment by clicking on the link once the

Lesson Package has been assigned to them

Creating Mindomo Assignments via SLW

Step 1:

Select your class / group wall

under Created By Me

Step 2:

Click on External Tool

Step 3:

Select Create Mindmap

Assignment

Step 4:

Enter the Assignment Title

Step 5:

Click Continue

Step 6:

Select how the assignment will

be completed by students

Step 7:

Click here to add attachments

for student reference

Step 8:

Click Update

Assignment

Step 9:

Click Close

*Note:

You may access this page

again at any time to post

comments & updates to

your Mindomo assignment

Step 10:

Click Post

Students may now access the mind map

assignment by clicking on the posted link

Tracking Mindomo Assignments in Lessons

Step 1:

Click on the lesson title

under My Lessons or

Track Lessons

Step 2:

Click on

Assignment Status

The student

submission status will

be displayed here

Step 3:

Click on Submitted

to view the student’s

submitted mind map

*Note:

You may click on Settings

to update the assignment

settings or post comments

& updates to your Mindomo

assignment

The student’s

submitted mind map

will be displayed here

Step 4:

You may post your comments on

the submitted mind map here for

student’s reference & response

Students’ View in Lessons

Step 1:

Click on the mind map title
