1. Open “System Preferences…”from the Apple Icon Menu.

Remark : If you are not logged in as “Administrator”. Any functions could not edit. So, you must unlock by Click #4 and enter Administrator user name and password.

How to Create and Change Location (For MAC)

These are the connection settings you need in order to :Access to internet at another place or join to another network (not ISB campus) such as Samakee Gardens, your home, free internet at the airport or

Starbucks. We suggest you to create the location. The sample will show you how to create the network location settings. You can create many locations by repeat all the steps and just change the location name on step 3.

3. Click at “Location” as #5, choose “New Location…”. The dialog box will pop up.Put your location name then, click “OK”.

4. Click at “Show” as #6 to choose your connection type.

- “Airport” if you are using wireless.- “Built-in Ethernet” if you are using the

network cable.

PART B : Change the Location

Every time when you go to another place, you should select the correct location by click at Apple Menu >> Location >> Choose your location.The network settings will automatically change to your settings in part A.

How to Remote Access When Outside ISB (For MAC)

Change the location to your current place. If you have not created any location, please follow “How to Create and Change Location (For MAC)”.PART A : How to Check Your Connection Settings

These are the connection settings you need in order to : Access your share folder at school, use your e-mail client software (outlook, entourage).

1. Open the Internet Browser, for MAC use Safari. Enter the username and password then, click “Log In”.

3. On logon page, enter your ISB user name and password.

2. Enter the URL “ http://ras.isb.ac.th “

4. Click “Continue” button.

5. Click “ISB Certified SSL VPN” to access network resources. ***Do not close this page***

6. Click “OK” button.

Enter your ISB user name and password then, click “Logon”.

User Name : Apartment/Townhouse No.

Password : Telephone No.

PART B : How to Use Remote Access SystemThe remote access system allows you to security access the school network. It is secure VPN, the same as you would use for online banking.

It requires the installation of a plug-in the first time you use it.

If you are not at Samakee Gardens, please go to step 3 below.

Remark : For new user who logon to RAS, it will go to register page and re-logon.

7. Select the installation method “Auto installation”.

8. Wait for a minute until this screen pop up. Then, click “Yes” button.

9. The screen will show as below, click “Yes”.

10. Click “Yes” again.

11. The installation status will be shown on installation page.

PART C : How to Log Out

1. Open “F5 Network Access” window, click at “close”.

2. Open ISB Remote Access System main page, click at “Logout”.

3. It will show “Your session is finished”, close this window. Finish!!!

Enter “Administrator” user name and password then, click “OK”

13. After finishing the installation wizard, restart Safari. Then follow “How to Use the Remote Access System” step 1-5 to reconnect. Finally you will get “Connected Status” page. ***Do not close it***

How to Create Your Profile on Entourage 2004 (For MAC)

PART A : Connection Settings and Connecting to VPN

***** If you want to use an e-mail client at Samakee Gardens or other places, you have to create your profile before using. It is highly recommended to use “Entourage” from the set of MS-Office 2004 for MAC.

***** If you have already created profile on your machine, please modify your Exchange Server and LDAP Server name to IP addresses (Refer to step 5 in Part B as follow).

PART B : Create Profile on Entourage

1. Choose “Entourage” icon from your dock.

2. On Entourage window, click drop down list beside “New” button.Then, choose “Email account”.

3. “Account Setup Assistant” window will pop up, follow #3 – 6 as below;#3 : put in “[email protected]” .#4 : check box at “My account is on Exchange server.#5 : User ID : “username”, Domain : “isb”, Password : “your password”.#6 : Click to go to next page.

Put your first and last name, sample is “Suree Thaworn”.

Put your e-mail address, format is “[email protected]”.

Put your user name.

Check box to save password, not recommend if you use the public machine.

6. It will show this page, choose “Verify My Settings” (#9) wait until in the Results box show “Your account settings have been successfully verified.” Then click #10.

7. At #11 type a display name for this account. Then, click “Finish”.
