Location The Pyramids of Giza were built in Giza.

The pyramids were built from around 2575–2465 B.C.

The pyramids are still around today not in the same perfect condition but they are still in good condition.

Purpose One of the pyramids were built by 100,000 people who were not

working then because that was when the Nile flooded so they were jobless. They worked on it for 3 months out of a year for multiple years.

The others were built by paid laborers who were motivated by a faith in kings.

The pyramids were used for tombs of the kings. Because Egyptians thought that there was life after death so they buried them I magnificent places with tons of riches and belongings.

The pyramids were built from stone bricks with incredible mathematical precision.

Special Facts The pyramids were so unique because of how perfect they were made.

They also had many different halls and booby traps in them to protect the king and the riches.

The exact techniques of building the pyramids are unknown but there are many theories.

Since the pyramids are still around they are still examples of pyramid structures today.

There have been buildings modeled after the pyramids for example The Luxor in Vegas and The Louvre in Paris.

The pyramids were one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Stone bricks, limestone, and many others were used during construction.
