4. Transport Information
Airport transfers to and from the Garden Hotel are the responsibility of the individual
participants. From Beijing Capital Airport to Garden Hotel: 33 km, 50 minutes’ drive.
The route from Beijing Capital Airport to the Garden Hotel (花园饭店) (30 HUA
YUAN DONG road, Haidian District ,海淀区花园东路 30号) is as follows:
4.1 Public Transportation Route (about 29 RMB Yuan):
⚫ Take the Airport Express to SAN YUAN QIAO Station(三元桥)for 25 Chinese
Yuan (RMB), then transfer to Metro Line 10 and get off from MUDAN YUAN
station(牡丹园) for 4 Chinese Yuan (RMB)
⚫ You can exit from EXIT B, and then walk about 50 meters to the east, you can find
the Garden Hotel(花园饭店)

4.2 Taking Taxi to Garden Hotel (花园饭店)
⚫ No matter you arrive at Terminal 2 or Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital Airport, you can
easily find the site to take taxi according to the direction sign in airport. It will cost
you about 100 Chinese Yuan (RMB) from airport to Garden Hotel.

5. Miscellaneous
⚫ Weather
Please note that Beijing weather at this time of the year is autumn: The temperature is
usually 2-16℃,please be sure to bring a warm clothes.
⚫ Currency exchange
Most Chinese stores do not accept USD or EUR. The Chinese currency is called 'YUAN',
and usually stated as 'RMB (Chinese YUAN)'.
If you need, be sure to exchange your own currency into RMB first (in your home
country), and it is also available for currency exchanges in the Beijing Capital Airport.
⚫ Electricity
China's electric voltage is 220 V. The plug should have two-hole and three-hole flat jack
socket. In case you bring your own laptop, please don’t forget to bring your own adapter.
