The scenery was spectacular.

The train stopped for a break and we walked down to the river.

Friday night the “Cheat Mountain Corksniffers” played folk and square dance music.

The Virginia Reel was very entertaining. Especially for the audience!

Georgene led the genealogy sessions.

Milton Pickett brought a beautiful bedspread made by his grandmother about 1890.

The bedspread is pictured in the reprint of “The Vawter Family in America”

It is described as “tufted embroidery” in a grape design.

VVV President, J W Vawter presided over the meeting Saturday night after the banquet.

Fred Wicker gave the Bible reading for the memorial service.

Laneil read the obituaries for the34 loved ones remembered.
