ESCUCHAR A LOS DEMAS

El no escuchar a uno de nuestros hijos o a personas cercanas a nosotros puede paralizarnos a todos, a ellos y a nosotros. Esto es particularmente grave cuando al no escuchar, al no dar importancia a los mas jóvenes, haciendo asi ver que no creemos en sus capacidades y valor, vamos cortando su motivación. El no esperar nada de otros hace que al final no lo tengan para darlo. Se les va encogiendo la iniciativa y la convicción de lo que pueden hacer. Empequenece la obra de Dios en ellos. Seriamos responsables de eso al no escuchar. La escucha a los demás nos hace mas fieles a Dios; puede que tengan perlas de sabiduría que nos enriquezcan a nosotros y a ellos y que den a la comunidad y al mundo “milagros” de buenas acciones.

Religious Education News

Saint Mary's Parish offers Religious Education Classes

from grades one through eight. Classes take place on

Saturday from 10:45 AM to 12:00 in Saint Mary's School.

Children should begin religious education classes in the

first grade. Registration for Religious Education, First

Communion and Confirmation Classes will take place in

the Parish Office on Saturday August 18 and 25 from

10:00AM to 1:00 PM. You must bring the child's Baptism

Certificate when you register. The $30 per child registra-

tion fee should be paid at the time of registration.

La Parroquia de Santa Maria ofrece clases de religion del

Stewardship Reflection 14th Sunday in Ord. Time “As the Lord spoke to me, the spirit entered me and set me on my feet, and I heard the one who was speaking say to me, ‘ Son of man, I am sending you…’” EZEKIEL 2:2-3. God asks each of us to do some special work for Him. He gives us the resources we need to do His work. However, do we listen to God when He calls? Do we get up on our feet and use our talent to do the work He asks of us? Remember, God doesn’t c all the equipped, he equips the called.
