Dear Church Family, Welcome to Bible Center Church!
Thank you for joining us today. We hope that you feel welcome and among a group of friends. We are here to approach our Lord and to encourage each other in this good way of following Jesus Christ. May God grant us a great Sunday today!
You have joined us as we are launching a new sermon focus on Sunday morning. Life is good and full of some great experiences to be enjoyed. But life in a broken world can be tough. We can face circumstances that tie us in knots. God has given us resources to help us defy the circumstances and maintain our joy. The Apostle Paul writes a letter from prison…full of joy. We will adopt this model of defiance as we trek through this small letter in the New Testament. The series is entitled “Defy: From Prison With Joy”. This book of Philippians will get into our souls and equip us to realistically face life…with joy. We will learn more about what the Bible
speaks of in saying “the joy of the Lord is our strength”. What does that even mean? We are going to find out together going through this New Testament book.
We are savoring the launch of our Community Groups! Four hundred strong, this band of brothers and sisters is geared up to meet each week to stoke this place full of caring life and vitality. Two new Sunday night mid-size groups launch here tonight at 6 PM.
Keep going,
Eric MountsSenior Pastor
