My Intrests
I have a keen interest towards developing and creating a product, till the nal stage.
My line of interest lies in the day to day life objects. Prototyping is one of the tools that helps
me to develop my ideas to the next level.
About Me
I am an Undergraduate in Product and Interface Design from Srishti School of Art, Design
and Technology, Bengaluru, Karnataka. I am looking forward to work on projects that involve
research, ideation and nal detailing of the product.

Trash to Treasure
The aim of the project was to design a ‘Luxury
Product’ with the help of raw materials taken out
of junk and waste products. The most
important task was to have a maximum
dierence in the price between the possible
M.R.P. of the product and the cost of the raw
materials. The end product was a luxurious night
lamp designed to look magnicent at the center
of a room and was made just out of somelow- cost stainless steel buckets and
Christmas lights. The skeleton was exible
enough to allow the light structure to move as
per the need of the user.
About The Product
The Making
The time allotted was just two weeks and we
had, in such a short time to nish our project
which included drilling two holes at the base of
each bucket (20’‘and 18’’) and then xing them
to a central skeleton pipe as well as the loops of
Christmas lights.

Malgudi
Alternatives
The ‘Alternatives’ word came from the idea of
the whole project. It was a revival of the
books and the television shows based on
R.K.Narayanan’s ‘Malgudi Days’. The object
was a kind of time machine in which the
product and the ambience try to recreate that
era. The idea was to describe the simple
stories about honesty and simplicity to the
young generation of today who are deprived
of all these virtues and morals of life.
About The Product
The Making
There are ve interactive objects which
together create the ambience. The Box, as a
transducer, makes the Lamp glow as one
approaches the installation, accompanied by
emerging music out of the Loudspeaker. Bothof them fade out when someone opens the
Book and a movie starts playing as you peep
through the hole in the book, creating a fantasy
like feature. The moment you pick up the Pen
out of the Inkpot, the credits of the m ovie start
coming, signifying that nothing can be added
to the stories, they are evergreen.

Tupperware Megh
The project was in creating plastic containers
as per the requirements of a modern Indian
middle class family . A thorough research wasmade by visiting sixteen individual houses
and datas were collected. Parallel market
research trips were also made, having
relevant meetings with the sales department
of tupperware.
About The Research
The Design
The product was a water container which was
designed for specically cooling water inside arefrigerator. The container takes the negative
space of the fridge as it has to be suspended on
the underside of the shelf. There was a Tonality
Board (Top Left) created for developing the
form and Used Case Scenario (Top Right) for the
function.

Snake Stick
The idea was to make a mechanical product
with the form that is non conventional. The
product I chose was a snake catcher. It was
based on basic Physics principle, ‘Leverage’
but was tremendously dicult to apply when
it came to prototyping.
About The Product
The Making
There are three main components in the
product. One is an aluminum shaft with a wire
inside it which also also provides a safe distance.
There is a trigger at the top of the product which
pulls the wire inside to result in an action. The
lower part is a pivoted jaw. When the wire is
pulled, the jaw closes because of the pivot move-ment and holds the object in place. The jaw and
the trigger were made out of nylon which was
hand crafted and given the shape.

Travel Luggage
The brief was to design a luggage for the Indian
customer. The project went through three
dierent stages- research, ideation and nal
product development.
This was my Diploma project which was
conducted under Onio Design Pvt. Ltd. andtherefore I am not able to share thenal product.
About The Project
The Process
The project started from desk research where I
studied the entire range of existing products
and the process undertaken in making of the
luggage. The next stage for the project was the
user research where I interacted with the user
when he is using the luggage and when at
home. The ideation started in form of sketching
and 2D vector Drawings. The ideas were
permutated and combined to form the nal
product.
* These renders are part of my process work and not the nal product as i am not authorized to publish my work.
