Sonia Sotomayor is a Latina from Puerto-Rican origin

"I realized that the judge was the most important player in that room," Sonia said.

Sonia’s mother was a nurse that worked six days a week to send her two children to Catholic school

Sonia was intrigued by law since she was a child

Sonia decided that she wanted to be a judge after watching the TV show Perry Mason

Graduated from Princeton University and then Yale Law School.

Famous for ending the baseball strike in 1995

Proud of her heritage as a Latina woman
