• smaller size• low current consumption• catchy colours they emit

LED DISPLAY

• Video display which uses light-emitting diodes.

• Typically used in store signs and billboards.• Commonly used in destination signs on public

transport vehicles.• used as form of lighting, general illumination

task lighting, stage lighting.

TypesFollowing are two types of LED panels1) Conventional (using discrete LEDs) - Most outdoor screens.

2) Surface-mounted device (SMD) panels - Most indoor screens.

3) Dot-matrix display -consists of a matrix of lights or mechanical

indicators arranged in a rectangular configuration.

- used to display information on machines, clocks, railway departure indicators and many

other devices.

CONCLUSION

LED has better visibility from greater distance.
