Who’s Who (2/3)
Approximately 20 student library assistants provide support for these departments during Fall and Spring semesters, and 5 during the summerYou will want to be able to recognize the team of permanent personnel and students who work in the library, since you will be interacting with many of themYour work interactions will require you to be able to physically identify them, know how to transfer phone calls to their office extensions, work on joint projects, and understand a little about their rolesSince the location of employees in the library is determined by the department in which they work, it will be helpful to first learn the organizational structure of departments and services, and the people who work in these areas
