*Call to Worship Doug Johnson One: In Christ there is no East or West,
All: IN CHRIST, NO NORTH OR SOUTH. One: But one great fellowship of Love throughout the whole wide earth. All: COME, LET US WORSHIP THE LORD OF ALL.
*Hymn Let Us Talents and Tongues Employ No. 526
Prayer of Confession Forgive, O Lord, our foolish ways, the rival altars that we raise, The wrangling tongues that mar your praise. Impart your grace to human hearts, drive out the sin that keeps us apart, that one great temple may rise to Thee, the Church of all humanity, Where all may worship true and free, and praise You in eternity.
Assurance of Pardon One: Forgiveness does not mean escape from the consequences of our sins, but the grace to face them. All: IN JESUS CHRIST OUR SINS ARE FULLY AND FREELY FORGIVEN. All: ALLELUIA, AMEN!
*Praise to God O Our Lord, We See You No. 517
*Sharing God’s Love in Christ: Passing of the Peace
Affirmation of Faith from the Belhar Confession of Faith We believe that the unity of the people of God must be shown, and be active in a variety of ways: In that we love one another, that we experience, practice, and pursue community with one another; that we give ourselves willingly and joyfully to the benefit and blessing of one another; that together we come to know the height and breath, and the depth of the love of Christ, that together we know and bear one another’s burdens, and that we pray together and together serve God in this world.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors,

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 12th and gather your friends and family to pack meals to help fight hunger all over the world.
Palma Sola is partnering with Rise Against Hunger, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide food to those most in need around the globe. In two hours, in a fun and educational assembly line process, we’ll pack over 10,000 life-giving soy and rice meals. Approximately 60 volunteers are needed for set-up, packing, and clean-up.
Friends, family members and children over 5 are welcome.
Sign up in the Narthex today to reserve your spot!
Experience LIFE! Our first two LIFE Group activities are coming up! Additional details
and sign-up sheets are in the Narthex for each:
The Active LIFE group is organizing a kayaking outing on Friday, October 11th, 9:00

The Table for LIFE dinner group is organizing German themed Octoberfest dinners
on Saturday, October 19th at 6:00 pm. Invite your friends and make new friends at
one of several locations. Sign-up to find out your group!
Our Palma Sola DOES It (Done On Every Sunday) for October is showing our support for teachers and staff at Palma Sola Elementary School. PSPC will provide desserts
for Parent/Teacher Conference night on October 17th as well as monthly “blessing” dinners to one lucky person.
Samaritan provides counseling for individuals, couples, families and children, as well as career, personality and psychological assessments. We are here to address problems, encourage spiritual and personal growth, and explore solutions – and we are here to listen.
