The New England is one of the most historic in the USA. This is where the pilgrims landed and where the first British colonies were.

It’s also where the Boston Tea Party happened and the American Revolutionary war broke out. The Declaration of Independence was also signed here.

The southern region of the US features warm weather and many vacation spots including Disney World. Many southern sates border the Atlantic Ocean and have lovely beaches.

The Midwest region is known for fertile soil and many farms. The land mainly consists of flat prairies. The weather is much like the Northeast with 4 seasons, cold winters and hot summers. The most famous city in the Midwest is Chicago which is home to many landmarks including the Willis Tower. You will also find the great lakes in the Mid west. These include Lakes Erie, Superior, Michigan , Ontario and Huron.

The Rocky Mountain region includes has snowy weather in the mountains but also very dry weather in the dessert areas. The Rocky mountains include some of the highest mountain peaks in the US. Many people are drawn to area for skiing and other winter sports.

The Southwest region of the US is home to many deserts. There you will find warm temperatures including very hot summers. The weather is also quite dry. This area was once part of Mexico. This is reflected in many aspects of the culture including languages spoken and food.

These states all have coastlines on the Pacific Ocean. Here you will find mountain ranges and a wide variety of climates.
