What Is a Podcast?

• A digital recording in MP3 format

• A vodcast is video and audio in mp4 or Quicktime format

• Uploaded to Bucks iTunes U

• Automatic download to iTunes on computer or audio player

• Users need iTunes account (free) to get/subscribe podcasts

Headphone Connection1. Plug in headset/mic before start up2. Make sure mic is turned on3. Make sure computer recognizes the headset:• Control Panel• Sounds & Devices• Hardware tab• Your Headset

Sound Check

Check that volume is not

muted.

Use media player to check that sound is playing with your computer default

settings

• Blue double bars to pause

• Find Library Button

File saves as WAV. Encoder allows export as MP3
