Why ???

Study Showed that about 68% of Mothers and 57% of Fathers had Moderate to Severe Symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress !!

IN OUR PROJECT WE WILL FOCUS ON THE DISTRESS THAT RESULT FROM THE CANCER ON BOTH PARENT AND THE CHILD HIMSELF AND HOW TO DEAL WITH IT

Objectives 1 :Investigate and deal with the level of Psychological distress in parent with children with cancer- identify the risk factors that increase the distress in parents

Objective 2:It’s essential to structure the different possibilities of intervention in way which guarantees the practice of psychosocial care within the ongoing medical care

Objective 3:The child illness is inescapably the focus of immediate concern of parent and child

it .

Standardized psychosocial care manual: by health education program, evaluate how much stress on the family in 2 points( requirement of nursing care, family life circumstances

Introduction of play group and to therapist into the waiting room to make the milieu more conductive to active coping with some of these tasks
