All About Me

My name is Melissa Westhoff. I am married to a wonderful husband named Doug. We have 3 wonderful children. Our twins, Ryan and Hayley are 8 and attend Festus Elementary, and we have a son, Connor, who is 5 and will attend kindergarten at the Elementary.

On our way home from Disney World this Summer ,we picked up the newest addition to our family, Sadie.

My dream was to one day become a teacher. It just took 21 years of working at McDonald’s (17 of those years in management), a wonderful family, and hours of schooling to fulfill my dream. It finally came true in 2008.

I did all of my student teaching here at Festus Intermediate.

My first year of teaching, I taught 5th grade at Windsor Intermediate. I enjoyed it tremendously, but I am glad to be back with the Festus School District.

I am truly blessed to be in the position I am in as your child’s teacher. I promise to work with you and your child to make this a successful year.
