The legislative branch meets every two odd numbered years.

Where and when the Legislative Branch Meets

The number of senators is 100 The qualifications to be a senator is you

have to be 30 years of age, have to live in the United States for 9 years, and live in the state he or she is representing.

The term for a senator is every six years. If you want to stay in the Senate the U.S. citizens have to elect you again.
