SPECIAL POWERS GIVEN TO CONGRESS

Page 41: LEGISLATIVE BRANCH By Sasha Huven 4 th hour About the Legislative branch

• If I were to choose, I would not be a member of this branch of this government. I would not because I would not want to make laws. I don’t like to disappoint anyone, so I would have to compromise everything. That would take an even longer time. Also, I think this branch is very complicated. To many steps for 1 thing. No, I would not be a part of this branch. Also I would not want all the people who aren’t happy to all hate me

WOULD I EVER WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS BRANCH?

Page 42: LEGISLATIVE BRANCH By Sasha Huven 4 th hour About the Legislative branch

• If I could make this branch change any law, it would be to have the minimum age of people for a job be 13. But just not more than once a week. We as thirteen year olds are responsible! And giving us a job once a week will get us ready for the real world. For some of us, it would be beneficial to earn some extra money. To go shopping more, to pay for your own stuff, etc.

WHAT LAW WOULD I CHANGE IF I COULD CHANGE ONE?

Page 43: LEGISLATIVE BRANCH By Sasha Huven 4 th hour About the Legislative branch

• In my opinion, This branch impacts my life by protecting me. If we didn’t have laws, we would be unprotected by the crazy chaotic freaks. It says what not to do, so people can’t murder us for example. If that wasn’t a law, people could be running the streets and killing random people.

HOW THIS BRANCH AFFECTS MY LIFE
