Decmil Australia was awarded the contract for the Design and Construct of the accommodation village as part of Fortescue’s Christmas Creek Expansion. Decmil managed the overseas manufacture of two storey accommodation units for this project.
Stage 2 of Karntama Village set a new
benchmark in Village design by improving
on the traditional central facility design
to create this resort style village
The design provided: ◻ Communal dining facilities and tavern
which has been located adjacent to the sports oval, which doubles as a sports viewing location;
◻ A 100 seat dedicated cinema; ◻ An external BBQ adjacent to some of
the sporting facilities; ◻ Sports facilities include a three lane
lap pool, tennis/basketball court, gym, indoor cricket, golf driving range, and a sports oval.
Recommended
