Jan had a pup. The pup was a lab.
She calls it Bud.
Bud has grass and mud on him.
Jan wants to scrub Bud in a bath. “Bud,” said Jan.
Bud will not run to her.
Jan tossed a dog snack at Bud. The dog will still not run to her.
“I will pet you if you run to this snack,” said Jan. Bud stops in his tracks and runs to Jan.
Jan pets Bud for a bit.
Then Bud jumps in the bath. Bud is washed by Jan with suds.
“Ah! Grass and mud are not on Bud,” said Jan.
Jan is glad that Bud is fresh!
