“... It’s a project that relies ona lot of technical andmechanical solutions, but it doesn’t bother us withthem... we don’t even thinkabout them, we don’t know

them, we’re just happy theyare there... I think PizzaKobracan gently disappear fromthe horizon and it’s just a flatthing on the desk... Then, when you need it you take itout and that’s what it is...”

“... What can we do in oneline?... It’s amazing how inthe world you can describesomething with lines, butyou can describe things injust one line; And this is what it is...”

An original idea of light, a unique object with fluid, changeable design.A shape in continuousevolution. An endlessnumber of soft and dynamicpositions over the samesimple line of light.

“... I started by bending atube. The idea is that thereare diminishing diametersemicircles: so, there is thebig one, there is a littlesmaller by the thickness ofthe tube and then a smallerone, and then smaller andsmaller. So I made that and I thought, … my idea was tohave a spring, one springinside them that pulled themall in tension...”

A small masterpiece of artand technology with high-tech soft articulationsthat connect the circularsectors of the spiral totranslate formal flexibility into changeable aestheticevolutions.

«What does a task light do in the daytime? What can we do to make it look good, even when it’s off? Whoneeds a crane on the deskwhen it has no job to do?How can we make it fullyadjustable without it lookinglike a piece of technicalequipment? I think it’s a bigjob and it needs a snakecharmer. Isn’t it amazingwhat can come out of a pizza box?»
