Grandmas Birthday Slideshow 2010

It’s your birthday dear Grandma

Thought we’d make you a show

Everyone cleaned up to look their best

some wore makeup and put on a dress

well our mom, she took her own portrait

Davy played the guitar

And the Bair kept hugging his book

and we lost our car

Well the snow, presented a problem

All the kids went outside

Finally we gave up and joined them there

While Grandpa sat and relaxed with a bear

Well, the boys, they flew on their snowboards

seldom landing on foot

but they sure – did – get quite a fill

Of the winter sports!

Well apart from sledding and flying,

other things have been done

Darlene found a stranger who dressed like her

People ate napkins

and Misty’s a blur

Oh our Jonny won’t miss a concert

even if he’s a stiff

there was ONE good picture of mom holding up a gift!

What to make for our Grandma…..

On her birthday this year?

I bet she’d like something soft to wear

Or, a craft that was made by a Bair

well now what could top a great novel

it could put her to sleep

but at least it’s better than RATS

though Darlene’s … are… sweet.

Jonny built you a sandwich,

Misty got you a bone

Darlene got busy and baked a cake

Danny sliced away half for his take

But the girls took daintier servings

Jonny hacked up the rest

while the sixth grade orchestra played

and James Bond impressed.

This song may seem very random

but we knew you’d enjoy

basically hearing us sing a song

and see some pictures where we get along

though our dogs drive sooner than daughters

and you might wonder why

when a man climbs walls like a spider

his wife might sigh
