In any response, we support the response mechanisms of national governments (which have the primary responsibility for the well-being of their citizens), local partners and other international actors that are operational on the ground.

response

• Hands on whole-of-government approach.

• Safety of people is first priority, followed by meeting basic

needs such as food, water, and shelter.

• Assistance provided in support of governments and

following a request

• Work closely with National Disaster Management Offices

(NDMOs), UN agencies, Red Cross, other donors, NGOs

Emergency Task Force (ETF)
