• was founded in 1964 by political youth organisations of Christian democratic, conservative and centre-right parties

• was called COCDYC; name change in 1975 to allow for a more broader ideology

Since 1964...

• Until the fall of the Berlin wall, we focused on the development of the EU against dictatorial regimes in Eastern Europe

• Today we are active as a political youth organisation with a focus on training centre-right political leaders for the future

Study Sessions

• are one-week seminars in cooperation with the Youth Directorate of the Council of Europe

• that deal with current topics through

• training in use of rhetoric and soft skills

• non-formal education e.g. simulation games

• discussion of non-partisan issues
