Dear Members,
Every year I am surprised by Labor Day and how quickly the
summer has passed.
Probably one of the first things our members will notice is that we
have re-paved our parking lot—a lot less stones in your sandals
now. And soon many of our seasonal members will begin
returning; we do miss seeing them when they are gone to cooler
climates.
Our first initiation of the fall will be September 18th. Come and help
welcome our new members. We also have closed our first book
drive for the Steele Children’s Hospital and I am very proud of our
member’s generosity.
Don’t forget to start planning ahead to attend our great Veteran’s Dance on November 10th
with That Kool Band again, tickets will go on sale soon. I know it’s early yet, but we often
do sell out that event. Those of you who have offered to come help, please do not forget
our meeting on September 7th at 3 pm.
Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
Fraternally,
Mary Greenewald
