The workshops are open to professionals and post-graduate students who use or wish to use SWAT in order to investigate hydrologic and water quality issues in watersheds and river basins. SWAT can be used to help develop: watershed protection and management plans, strategies for payment for ecosystem services, and water conservation programs.
Participants should be professionals or post-graduate students with expertise in soil and/or water management. Attendees should have a working knowledge of ArcGIS; we will not review basic concepts of ArcGIS prior to covering the SWAT/ArcGIS interface.
The SWAT workshop is designed to be approximately 80% hands-on. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop with 2012 version of SWAT with an ArcGIS interface installed.
