When a center serves the same meals over & over,

they should be given menu ideas to promote this.

Foods that must be supplemented with

another fruit/vegetable at breakfast and snack.

The Food Channel - 600

Of these 3 foods, one is not creditable at breakfast:

granola, cereal bars, toaster pastries.

The Food Channel - 800

Cheese product, cheese sauce, and cream cheese.

The Food Channel - 1000

Only this soy product is creditable when

accompanied with a medical note.

The Apprentice - 200

The number of days required for a cross month

enrollment study.

The Apprentice - 400

These forms must be completed, signed and

dated by the parent, not a center representative.

The Apprentice - 600

Renewing institutions need to conduct an

enrollment study month sometime during this

timeframe.

The Apprentice - 800

Only required (on the EIEA) when categorizing a child for Free or Reduced-

Price.

The Apprentice - 1000

These are valid for one calendar year, with two

exceptions.

Fear Factor - 200

This must occur within the first four weeks of a new

sites’ operation.

Fear Factor - 400

At least twice a year, this must be observed during a

site review.

Visual clue: This amount of raw carrots needs to be served for

snack to a school age child and is the reason OSPI encourages

serving 2 types of raw vegetables.

By this time, the meal counts must have been

recorded.

Fear Factor - 1000

The meals that must be recorded in the 5-day

reconciliation.

Deal or No Deal - 200

The term used when a center claims the same

number of any meal type for 15 consecutive days.

Deal or No Deal - 400

The maximum number of days in which an original claim must be filed if it is

to be paid without an exception.

Deal or No Deal - 600

The maximum length of time to submit a revised (upward) claim for more

money.

Deal or No Deal - 800

The type of error that indicates a claim must be adjusted or it will not be

processed by OSPI.

Deal or No Deal - 1000

The form used to authorize center representatives to

submit claims.

Survivor - 200

This (portion of the) completed form must be

on file for all children at all times.

Survivor – 400

The number of reviews be conducted annually (per

site) for a sponsor of multiple sites.

Survivor - 600

When infant meals are claimed, this form must be on file, with one exception.

Survivor - 800

A CN label or signed manufacturer’s fact sheet

must be on file when serving these type of

entrees.

Survivor - 1000

CACFP meal pattern, reimbursement process, accurate meal counts,

claim submission, recordkeeping, civil rights.
