Jesus and his disciples

came to a village where a

woman named Martha

opened her home to him.

She had a sister called Mary,

who sat at the Lord’s feet

listening to what he said.

c

But Martha was distracted

by all the preparations that

had to be made. She came to

him and asked, “Lord, don’t

you care that my sister has

left me to do the work by

myself? Tell her to help me!”

  “Martha, Martha,” the

Lord answered, “you are

worried and upset about

many things, but few things

are needed—or indeed only

one. Mary has chosen what is

better, and it will not be

taken away from her.”

Bible Verse

Come to me, all you who

are

weary and burdened,

and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28

Song: “My Jesus, I Love Thee”

My Jesus, I love Thee,

I know Thou art mine;

For Thee all the follies

of sin I resign;

Song: “My Jesus, I Love Thee”

My gracious Redeemer,

my Savior art Thou;

If ever I loved Thee,

my Jesus, ’tis now.

Song: “My Jesus, I Love Thee”

I love Thee because

Thou hast first loved me,

And purchased my pardon

on Calvary’s tree;

Song: “My Jesus, I Love Thee”

I love Thee for wearing

the thorns on Thy brow;

If ever I loved Thee,

my Jesus, ’tis now.

Song: “My Jesus, I Love Thee”

In mansions of glory

and endless delight,

I’ll ever adore Thee

in heaven so bright;

Song: “My Jesus, I Love Thee”

I’ll sing with the

glittering

crown on my brow,

If ever I loved Thee,

my Jesus, ’tis now.
