The mission of BASIX is to improve the lives of the poor, primarily targeting the rural poor and womeprovision of integrated financial services and technical assistance. The organization is among the firscompanies in the world to attract commercial debt and equity investments, both internationally and frBASIX offers a range of services including savings and insurance, agricultural, livestock and non-fardevelopment, and institutional development to rural producers and their groups. BASIX works with ovcustomers, over 90% being rural poor households and about 10% urban slum dwellers.
