“Christmas isn’t a isolated event but an ongoing story about

our salvation.”

The First Sunday in Advent is designated the

Sunday of Hope!

5

This Hope is about a Savior coming into the world. It’s

about Emmanuel, God with us.

No matter what the circumstances are like in our life as long as God is with us then hope has come to us

every day!

7

How many people have told you that because of some negative experience or tragedy they either lost faith or stopped coming to church?

8

How many people have told you that because of some negative experience or tragedy they either found faith or started

coming to church?

Once Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was coming, and he answered, “The kingdom of God is not coming with

things that can be observed; nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There it is!’ For, in fact, the kingdom of

God is among you.”

Luke 17:20-2118

“Christmas isn’t a isolated event but an ongoing story about

our salvation.”

That is happening Now!

19

We live in hope because our God is with us and

active in our lives.
