• As a direct result of this report, senior Managers are being asked to reiterate the purpose and importance of CIRAS to their teams and to ensure that this message is cascaded through all levels.

• Network Rail has acknowledged that planning of lifting operations with Road Rail Vehicles (RRVs) is often not being carried in accordance with requirements
